Robin White

I am a lifelong creator with a background in writing.  I discovered a passion for painting when I illustrated my original poems.

My main medium is watercolor, along with splashes of gouache, ink, pencil, and charcoal.

My favorite subjects to paint are landscapes, birds, and abstract illustrations of objects, thoughts, and ideas.

I love symmetry/order and am exploring creating chaotic asymmetry to challenge and expand my horizons, along with those of my viewer.

I’m Southern born and bred – a life-long resident of Middle Georgia, minus a year in Savannah and three years in Atlanta.  I love old-time gospel and soul food; I pull over for funeral  processions, can drive a stick shift, and not go in the ditch on a muddy red clay road.  I’m a refugee from the 80s.  I love hair metal and guys who look better in make-up than me.  Sarcasm is my second language and music has been the background of my life.
